The Battle

Plot: In 1904, during the Russo-Japanese War, a Japanese naval officer allows his wife to be seduced by a British naval attaché in order to gain access to a secret report he has written, unaware her marital unhappiness has made her vulnerable to falling in love with him. Adapted from a novel by Claude Farrère, and also filmed in a French-language version, LA BATAILLE
