He is best known for his appearances with WWE, World Championship Wrestling, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the 1980s and 1990s fter leaving ECW Samu worked for a number of independent organizations both as a singles wrestler and alongside Lloyd who worked under names such as Alofa, and "The Tahitian Warrior" winning titles in WWC and ISPW
