Bio: Glen Payne (1926–1999) was an American Southern gospel singer, best known as the lead vocalist of The Cathedral Quartet for over 35 years. Born in Texas, he began his career in 1944 with the Stamps-Baxter Quartet and in 1964 formed the Cathedral Quartet with George Younce
